Our Mission

• The Australian TYP901 Register is a non-profit incorporated car club dedicated to preserving and enjoying the TYP 901 sports cars.
• These "TYP 901" or "Steel Bumper" cars signify the original production 911's and 912's. As the years ticked by, the cars got "better" but they got further and further away from the original concept.
• Our group is an association of enthusiasts who pay homage to this remarkable machine.

July 18th Mirboo Nth run and lunch

The next planned drive is Saturday July 18th. Block out the calenders good drive for driver and partners with or without kids. Proposed route is from Maccas in Mulgrave to Emerald and then across to Yarragon for morning tea then through the back hills to Korumburra, Leongatha and lunch at Grand Ridge Brewery at Mirboo Nth at approx 12.15pm. Cost for lunch will vary but menu is good and prices are very reasonable most mains around $18 - $22 except for the high end steak dishes.[Read More]

Sydney 901érs, Tech day next Saturday week at PR Technology - June 20. Details on PCNSW website. I'm going along as I've never seen the workshop. I do know they do some good work, have done some very interesting projects and attend to a number of delectable Porsches... so it should be interesting.

2009 PI 6 Hour

Yep, it is on again! Date is 8th and 9th of August - earlier than the past. I plan to enter one team (5 or 6 cars) with some people that have already expressed interest. If we want to enter more than 1 team, that is fine, however someone needs to pick the ball and run with it quickly or you will miss out.
