As a participant of this forum, by participating in threads and posting you agree to the following forum rules:
1. Members should post in a way that is respectful of other users. There will be no abuse or personal vitriolic attacks on the forum. Members that do not abide by the spirit of this rule can be banned temporarily or permanently from the forum. Moderators can use their discretion to lock or remove threads that contravene this rule.
2. TYP901 forums would not exist except for paying Sponsors and Members - and they, along with us - feel it is unfair that they subsidise non-Sponsor sales and marketing efforts. In short, if you are not a Sponsor, you are prohibited to make commercial posts to the Forums (personal for sale ads in the classified forum by members excepted). People cannot tout, sell or advertise their services or products in this forum unless they are a paid sponsor (and on a limited basis only). Please note that moderators can use their discretion to lock or remove threads that contravene this rule. Further, if moderators believe the spirit of this rule is being broken they can use their discretion to lock threads and ban applicable members.
3. All Sponsors/sponsorship are limited to companies/people who are involved in early 911/912 vehicles and all sponsorship advertising has to be related to these early cars.
4. Use of inappropriate language is not permitted. Moderators can use their discretion to lock or remove threads that contravene this rule.
5. Members should remember this board is aimed at early 911 enthusiasts. Avatars or posts that are pornographic or generally offensive text, images, links, etc. will not be tolerated. Members that flout this rule in regard to avatars will potentially lose their avatar privileges (i.e. not have one). Members who make inappropriate posts could be subject to sanctions such as a temporary or permanent ban. Please note that while we have a sense of humour, the band only stretches so far.
6. Registered members should be aware that each forum has been setup for a specific purpose. Should a post be more applicable in another forum, moderators have the discretion to move the post. |
