Hey Craig - Thanks for the heads up on the grille. After a lot of searching, I now have a 3 bar grille.

excellent news, apparently they are as rare as rocking horse.... so one in any condition is worth having, dont forget to post pictures of the grille resto !

nice pick up craig. I cleaned the black off one of those grilles I had on my 69 912 once. They are a delicate and soft grille so go slow and with care. Mine was chromed but somebody had sprayed it black. It cleaned up well with stripper and a hose and lots of care and love. I used to love the clean line of my 69 grille. you will be very happy with it.
