Tyre Opinions?

I'm looking to renew my tyres in 205/55 and 225/50 for my 7&8 inch 15's respectively. Currently looking at Toyo T1R's and Proxes4, and possibly BF Goodrich G Force Sports. Any opinions/alternatives?

Thanks
Paul M

Falken have the Ziex ZE-912 in those sizes.

I'm close to biting the bullet also - I was going to try a 'non R spec' for a change as I'm doing a lot more casual driving. The 'mericans seem to really like the BFGs

I was even thinking about some 'period correct' style tyres like the Michelin TBs or Dunlop CR65s...

Ok, thanks guys. I've now scoured the tyre shops within 40 k's and here are my findings for the above sizes. Falkens were not given a very good rap by the tyre guys for some reason.I have Falken Zeiss on the rear at the moment and find the ride hard. BFG's were described as old hat and more expensive(F $230,R $275) than the latest tech Toyo T1Rs(F $175,R$190). Michelins way too pricey(over $500 a tyre and are the last of their line in 15's). Dunlops in the $275 price range. So, we come to what I will choose - Bridgestone Adrenaline RE001 but I have returned to the factory 60 profiles of 205 and 215. This will also let me get a 195/60 for my spare in the same tyre on the steel 5.5" rim or I might just fit one of my existing 205/60 Bridgestones. Costs are 205 $184, and 215 $149 (more tyre less money??) go figure, spare also $149. So its Bridgestones in 60 profile I think.
Have a safe Christmas
Paul M.

OBRUT
I put Bridgestone Adrenaline RE001's on the Speedster and have not spilled a single drop of latte since.

(Seriously, I really like them as a road tyre.)

Ryan, I don't think the RE001 come in the sizes Paul was originally chasing (at least I can't find them on the Bridgestone website) - 225/50 205/55 x 15

I'd heard ordinary feedback on the earlier Falkens, but that the new ones (912) were a better beastie...

Ok, I have finally bitten the bullet. Fitted Bridgestone Adrenaline RE001 but went back to factory sizes of 205 and 215/60x15 and put one of my good old 205s on the spare. The tyre guys said my spare's Michelin 165 XZX must have come out of the ark(tubed too). At $190 each. Ride is more supple, more quiet and they look good.
