I’m sure there is a price at which this would be viable to restore, but such a thorough job has been done to turn it into what you see, it’s hard to look past that.

      I agree.
Really put some effort into the update.

I understand that the first sale through greys online fell though (buyer didn’t pay). Out of curiosity what was the hammer price?

I think this sold again in the last few days - any ideas on sale price second time ‘round?

I now joined the 901 Register. 1st post but long time Porsche owner (since 2004)

Greetings all, this is my car
Unfortunately selling it due to buying a house so few cars have to go including this one
I bought it from David Jenej 3 years ago and put it on the road about a year ago
Body & paint work were done 10 years ago so what you see is what you get. If there was rust, it would've appeared already. Panel & paint work is perfect except for a tiny crack on the front bumper
It has a 3L engine out of a '79. It has been converted to Webers and runs strong. 5 Spd gearbox
                  Sunroof
Interior has the club sport steering wheel and the turtle back seats
It was sold on Grayonline then the waste of time bidder did not pay
                  Happy to answer any questions
Auction finishes tomorrow at 8:30pm and the car can be inspected in Dandenong
                  Cheers

Another loser of a bidder on Graysonline who won the auction but has not paid. Apparently claiming someone had his phone at the time!!!! Bloody BS
                    Car still available
                    Asking $63k

The car is going up for auction again next Friday. If it doesn’t sell before August, I will keep it for few more years
