I think its a 73 MY , 72 build..... I cant see an oil tank door....

I might be wrong - but I reckon I know that car - it ticks a lot of mental boxes I have in terms of history, maintenance and modifications etc.

If its the car I think - cant see VIN - I know it back to the 80's....

With the difference in exchange rates we have had quite a few cars go to the UK in the last 2-3 years.

Justin it is a 73E from Sydney 911 320 0502 and the price is waaay up from when CTS was trying to sell it in June 2014 (for the third time in 4 years) Not much seems to have been done to it since although they have (incorrectly) put houndstooth on the rear seats since then and say they have repainted it. I didn't record the asking price in 2014 but it was $84,995 in June 2011 (before a tidy up in the cabin and adding air and sports seats during the intervening period) It was registered NSW "911E" when CTS had it in 2008 (at 100236 miles ie about 4000 miles done since then )

Circa 2003 I had a look at a 73e in the eastern suburbs of Sydney. It was a very nice car, Viper Green with a brown interior fresh paint presented immaculately, only problem was the car had been parked outside during the 1999 hailstorm and had been pulverised.

Looking at the script again in the UK advertisement I see it's not the original motor fitted. The 73E MFI motor (6230581) that MRAR had for sale/sold in WA may have been, or would be a close number fit for this car?

I am pretty sure its my late friend Mark Goddards old car.... he bought it around 87 and sold it circa 97/98

The car had a new motor installed late 90's when person who bought it off Mark blew it up at a supersprint..... a 2.4E case built up to 2.9 was installed (as was the trend then) Car went through the throttle shop a few times over the next 10 years.

I am pretty sure I know where the original motor for this car is.... assuming its Marks old car.

                    How the wheel turns.....
