        I owned this car many moons ago. Bought it from a guy in Mornington, and from memory it went to QLD. Was a nice car back then, and still seems to be. Was very original when we had it.

          Porschaden, a short walk from me, had it in their showroom for quite some time - at least a year until fairly recently.

          I checked it out last year - a really nice sporto, seemed original inside and a more recent paint job.

          They were asking $210

            Sold $225,500 according to Shannons site. I imagine that's plus commissions etc yeh?

              Yes, commission @ 5%, so $236,775 all up.

              You might think it was strong money, but if you wanted a very well sorted no stories car, it was positively a bargain next to this in the same Auction. This orange car $250,000 away from being as good:

                  Not sure Phil - but back to the 2.2 Sporto

                  Porschaden had it for a couple of years at $210 sticker price and couldn't move it.

                  Probably means prices have risen 30% in 2 years?
