        It is a small push pull switch Phil that looked nothing like that switch and Neville your car doesn't have that sort of switch either unless I am really losing it yours is the correct small push pull style.

                    I think that photo of the rear wiper switch on the blue car may be a bit of an optical illusion with a reflection of the switch showing on the highly polished instument binnicle and in part due to t he angle of the photo

                    here is the exact same car some years ago with the photo taken from a different angle
                    it looks factory to me in this one
