Being picky, but I would have used a location with different backdrop shades to help with the colour of the car.

        Some interesting questions being asked.
        "Does this car have AC?"
        Yes it is.

I think the speaker fader dial has confused the questioner perhaps as when I first saw that pic thought it had aftermarket air also.

Car is a very late RS which looks to be genuine but very well used.

There appears to be a few things not original but fixable and he does have some cool literature of ownership history and what looks like genuine books.

In reality however this is an S shell, as all late RS were, so no special RS features like thin steel ,gearbox oil pump, thin glass and it has full body deadner unlike early RS
          and I could go on.

Other than the engine it's an RS in name and body shape only and not worth anywhere near what a series 1 car is.

Having said that we are in crazy times and someone probably still pays a million bucks for it!!!

$885K .... Im sure the unique and cool period colour contributed to this.

Clyde if it was your " 2.4S with flares and RS motor" you'd be delighted!

Surprised it sold I am told the owner paid more than that for it 14 mths ago.

Just for interest I did that maths would be about 1.3mill landed after luxury car tax, GST freight and port charges.

                A bargain!!!!!
