If you were using new parts - but had the long block already - wouldnt building something like that in Australia be roughly the same in AUD?
I'm hearing 35K AUD for a standard rebuild on the east coast of Australia these days.

Lucky here on the west coast I can work in with my guy and determine what is and isn't needed (working with what is in front of us) depending on what the car will be used for, rather than writing a blank cheque build.

Fair enough …. I think I have the same relationship with the people that would build my engine….
even so, depending upon what is needed, the figure certainly has a 2 in front of it most likely a 3?Justin Reed

This looks better value.
Hi I had this engine with the thought of using it in my 67S race car. Long story but I was going to convert this motor to a race spec etc etc but never happened. I have decided to stay with my current engine so this one is better suited for a true street car. 9600xx 1967 911 S Engine 2.2 Build , rebuilt in 2018 , zero run time currently wrapped and ready for shipping. Price $29,990 ESR price or close to $1 million if it goes on BAT!! your choice. :)Aus del 68 911S
