Just shows how relevant the OS market is going to be. Incredible price.

          Here's the DDK thread: http://www.ddk-online.com/phpBB2/vie...p?f=28&t=48740

On the one hand $59k seems like good value, but if you use a UK third party like Canford or Autofarm to get this "car" back to concours it could easily cost A$100k . . . maybe even $150k. At that point it's a $185k-$200k concours 2.2S . . . right on the market.

Hmmm maybe. A lot of work and time in that still, import costs and markets can fluctuate. I think Mitchell will be very pleased. Also makes me think that the US and German/European market will become even more the major venues for LHD cars from Australia.

Thanks for the post link Nick.

Dont forget the buyer has to pay 20% VAT when importing the car into the UK as well.

Whoops, just read the DDK thread and since its a UK delivered car, no VAT charges !

I read on that DDK thread that Dennis Brooks 2.2S that went to the UK is now up for sale. The UK market is certainly hot for 911S's.
