Just a little bit of rust

Check out this 71T on ebay.com

And the seller says: "If you thought you were priced out of the early 911 market, you were wrong".

Basket-case is hardly a fitting description.

is this what it has come down to now to find an early car ?

i suppose it depends on what your price point is ? probably says more about what is considered salvageable, 5 years ago an S in this condition there would have been no hesitation whereas a T may have been landfill ...

Not that this is an example, but some very nice solid LHD cars do come up on eBay US and I am sometimes tempted. Thinking Ratty style.

Was this used as an anchor???? I mean Jesus that's a lot of rust, and we know it's just the tip.

Why o why, if the car has obviously been in a bad condition for a few years, has the owner fitted a brand new dashboard cover. That thing is almost worth half of what he's asking!

Only a weekend's worth of work for someone with your skills to get this pristine.
