    Shannons Winter Auction

    Is anyone planning to go along to inspect anything this weekend for the upcoming Shannons auction?

      I looked thru the catalogue for this auction. Whats got your interest Chris ?. I quite like the look of the Escort but price is a bit too high for this toy.

        The XU.1 Phil.

        However the engine is a restamp and I am OK with that, at Restamp price.
        Trouble is, the general public wont know, and I cant imagine Shannons announcing it, so the car will probably fetch matching numbers price, and I can't pay that.
        Shannons avoid any liability with a lot of tricky words about buyers doing their own due diligence etc etc.

            I am interested to see how the 993 turbo goes, that market seems very slow. Some of the ones on carsales have been for sale since late last year

              I think there is sufficient knowledge 'out there' about the restamped block Chris. It looks like a nice car, and it's a really desirable colour as well. Good luck if you have a go for it!

                  The Turbo 993 passed in at $270K as did the 356 at $190K.
