Would this car be road registrable in Australia (assuming mechanical compliance) given its date of manufacture? On another note it makes me weep to see the price of cars such as this car and later 911's elsewhere than Australia.

My bad on that, because of the year of manufacture you would not get import approval.

There was some talk about introducing a 30 year rolling arrangement so that e.g. in 2020 you could import a 1990 manufactured car. But I think that this so-called free market government decided that would be too free market and kyboshed it.

No Chris, not the Shahin car ;-) Delivered new to Yorks in Sydney - Its a 2+2 but is coming with both stock seats and lightweight Recaros. Should make a good daily driver for a while.
