I have a feeling I have two complete targa vent windows and frames. Im back on Thursday and will send you some photos if you PM your phone number. Not really sure exactly what I have.
Hi Tim
thanks but unfortunately targa frames are different, they are brass. 68 coupes had an aluminium frame, another 1 year only thing that 68’s a famous for.
Thanks again

? I thought all SWB’s had triple chrome plated brass window frames and accessories? Are Targa’s brass?
Hi Jim
68 was the first year they introduced the aluminium door frame but retained the front 1/4 vent windows. The 68 targa retained the brass frame.
65-67 SWB coupes had brass plated door frames.
LWB are much easier than SWB, I'm learning something new everyday.

1968 is a nightmare for a restoration... I'll have a dig about my bin and see what I have. My 68 has a correct RHS alloy coupe opening quarter-light, but is missing the left side (currently using 69>). I have a <67 LHS frame with opening quarter-light in brass/chrome somewhere. I did think the quarter-light components were the common chrome plated versions (even in 68), but you're saying they are another 1-year-only aluminium part too?
