    934 Rep for sale

    A friend on mine here has finally decided to sell his road registered 934 Rep with several sets of spare wheels, gears, jacks and so on.

    He provides the details below and a link to more images is https://photos.app.goo.gl/BSTukSBJUy7WWNB28

    Some dyno' details are attached below

    1977 Porsche 934 replica for sale
    What is a 934? Between late 1976 and early 1977 the Porsche factory manufactured 31 competition versions of its turbo 930 (AKA 911 Turbo) built to FIA Group 4 rules and called these cars the type 934. The genuine cars have become very valuable (A$1M plus) and to my knowledge there is only one in Australia.
    My car is based on a 1977 911 chassis modified for competition use in the early 1990s and raced in Porsche Cup by Greg Lovett and others.
    I bought my 934 replica in 2003, replacing a 930 in which I had competed in
    Porsche Club events in the period 1999 to 2003 as well as a couple of the early
    Noosa Hill climbs. In the period 2003 to 2008 my 934 replica competed successfully at Leyburn Sprints and some Porsche Club sprints. The car also occasionally competed at Mt Cotton Hill climb and on numerous occasions since 2003 to the present at Noosas Hill Climb.
    Basic Specs
    Body based on 1977 Porsche 911 shell; fibre glass bonnet & guard extensions
    & carbon fibre doors; Plastic windows and glass front wind screen;
    3.4L Engine: Upgraded and rebuilt 2011-13 (limited use since) including new
    98mm pistons/barrels, Carrillo rods, EFI with Vi-Pec V88 ECU, twin plug heads & 12 coils, 964 plastic inlet manifold, GT35/82 turbo, running E85 fuel, 411 rear wheel horsepower at 5,200 RPM at 1 bar boost.
    5-speed G50 close-ratio gearbox and HD clutch (rebuilt 2017); adjustable brake bias, Big Red calipers on front & 930 front calipers on rear; 930 rear banana arms, RSR coil-over with rose joint suspension; Velo seats; Momo Prototipo steering wheel; BBS wheels 18x10 fronts and 18x11 rears; Dry weight 1100KG. CAMS log book, competition roll cage and is currently Qld road registered.
    This car is seriously quick and is ready to go on track (and subject to RWC can be kept registered on road).
    Spares
    Also included are some quite valuable bits and pieces: 5 spare sets of big wheels including: a set of rare 16 x 10 and 16 x 12 inch BBS E50s; 3 sets of 16,17 & 18 inch Simmons, a set of 16 x10 & 16x13 replica Fuchs; spare G50 ratio gear pairs for each of 3rd, 4th&5thgears; original CIS fuel injection system; rare (German) huge intercooler; rebuilt clutch & flywheel for 930; spare fibre glass whale tail; 2x fibre glass front apron/spoilers; 4x Lister air jacks.

    Asking price $79,500
