i've been looking through files on my laptop of this car and found this one today from earlier this year when I had the front spoiler painted and fitted foglights (and while at it replaced suspension bushes, fishoiled/body waxed frontend.
42 years of dirt (it's still there). IMG_7237.JPG

I was in two minds as wether to post this, but may as well it's a 42 year old car, got to expect some of this especially when there is some evidence under the rear screen rubber (see pic) lip anyway.
Windscreen removed ( but discovered some rust )and new one/gen rubber ready to install.
As I am at option one in the sale process, have opted to clean up and treat with wurth rust converter/prime/and brush touch effected areas, so as to fit new screen in the short term. Ultimately if I go down (or next owner if they see fit) the path of option three I will repair the spots on the plenuim, rear screen and paint plemuim roof and thru to the lower rear valance betwee the gutter rails. The car will sell with a new hood liner (from Us one of Tony's if i remember correctly),gen sunroof seals (new cables have been replaced), sharkfins (if carrera decals removed).
So here's the rust I have mentioned at the start of the thread (that hasn't worsened visually over my ownership) and area mentioned in this post frt screen opening above. This is pretty much all that is visible on the car, not bad for 42 yrs.

                Full disclosure...love it.

I have seen this car in the shed many times, in fact will see it again at the end of the month if not sold by then.

It is a lovely looking car, I could drive it for someone in alte October to give my opinion, if someone was interested in my opinion that is

                  Thanks Clyde.
Rust converted, primed and brushtouched, ready for screen.
I'll get this to Perth next week for a tune and quote for minor oil leaks/ clutch.
Then back for Clyde to take for a fang.

This is a seriously good car, and in a very rare colour spec. If I hadn't committed to restoring another newly acquired Carrera 3.o I would be all over this car.
It is VERY difficult to find one in this condition, and with such unique delivery spec.
