If you can't find any, castrol make a good fully synthetic Diff/ transaxle oil. They call it syntax these days. Make sure it has a GL-5 rating for the hypoid gears and is a good weight for your syncros and life will be good.
I have minimal hands on experience with this stuff, however I did a little research a while ago and I would follow Lyndon's advice.
If it was a worn, flogged out box I would possibly chase it down.
Someone else may chime in and give some first hand feedback on this stuff. However the old forum oil debates are longer than the phone book and never go anywhere.
Good luck and post up what oil you use and if the gearbox is still perfect after 50,000 kms (which I presume it will be) post up your results then.
I doubt you will even see that many km's in a lifetime of that car.

not sure if it helps, but I have Mobil Delvac 75 90 synthetic gear oil. I bought 19 litres (smallest amount I could find!) Used it in my G50 and it is sweet.
