A couple of cars that are nice value. That would tick quite a few boxes for someone who wants to ease into a $150k car.

Does anyone else think that the VIN stamping on the red 69 looks wrong?
                Bill A.

                72E Sporto (still is)

does look suspicious, especially the A in front of the VIN. Last thing you'd want is to go to register it and find that someone else has already done so somewhere else in Australia...

the gumtree ads like the green one are suspicious. especially with an aol email address.

Bill I think you will find that what may look like an A in the photo is the ampersand that 911 Porsche vins have at the start and end of the vin number.

Its a star, not an "A". Correct stamping of the factory VIN

It Looks OK to me the different years had different spacing, fonts and stars (or not) at each end. Tou need to compare it with other 1970MY cars here is the red one from the ad and another one known to be correct from my library of fonts and vins
