Blaupunkt Frankfurt on-off/volume control

I require an on-off /volume control switch for my Blaupunkt Frankfurt radio (it has AM band only). My daughters boyfriend is an electrical engineer, so he can probably fit a switch that may not be identical to the one that is cactus, so it may not be critical that it be exactly the same.
So, if anyone has an old (Blaupunkt or Becker) radio that they wish to discard then think of me - the switch may be OK.
