WTB Steel Air filter for 1971 911S MFI

Hi al, I am looking for a complete steel air filter assembly for a 1971 911S MFI. Happy to pay $1000 for a nice complete one, will consider just the top main body.

Is that the one with the steel fuel lines as part of the lid for cold start (I think thats what they're for)?

I may have what your looking for but you will be paying double what your looking to pay in the post above if it is correct from me. This cost plenty to buy originally, then was then slugged by the guys I sent it to to paint.

I think $1000 is fair, that is the price PCA were selling them for 2 years back but now NLA. There are plenty available overseas for that price. I am just trying to save on shipping

There is a nice one on early S with a date stamp that suits your car, but it is a top only.

I looked at this today at work, showing a few marks etc.

I got mine blasted and painted locally for $80.
