    Pay It Forward

I have a steering wheel that I will offer for free including a nice horn button. It came as a spare when I got the stash of my original parts for my 1973 911, it was free from a previous owner. A crying shame but a steering wheel cover has practically destroyed the rubber and it will need rubber rebuilding before leather recovering. It is stamped 11 72 and I was told it was originally from a light yellow 911E Australian delivered Melbourne car. Wheel and horn button are free except for postage and I would prefer it going to someone who can do something with it, and maybe could pay something else forward.

I realize Typ 901 non members cannot see photos on previous posting so I can send via phone. If any non member Typ 901 people want and can use the wheel, I would send wheel and horn button for free including postage if they join this register (then they can actually see what they are missing!)

        Nice one Geoff!

I have brand new genuine Porsche swb battery cover I no longer have use for (i found my original one)

If you need it, and you have something to pay forward, it's all yours for mere postage!

        Ben.

And can I add my two cents worth, I'd like to think that members have priority over lurkers. This is exactly why we pay membership dues...

Mate they'd have been perfect for you if you'd have listened to Frau Prenzler instead of chasing chicks...

                        Great stuff Geoff!

Funnily enough I have a 400mm recover kit. I had a vague attempt to do a wheel but it was beyond my skill and patience levels so have chosen to outsource.

Anyone wanting to have a go at it please let me know (pm me your address) and I'll pop it in the post.

Can anyone use a set of '73 over-riders? Fronts are extremely good, rears are extremely bad.

                              Hi Ben
I have a mate with an early 912 that would take the battery cover.
He has some 901 bits so will be paying it forward also.
