Early 911 Radio Install plate F.S.

Here is the pressed steel plate with spring clips included which you need to fit an older style radio to the rectangular dash hole in your early 911. The post of the radio are attached thru the 2 holes and secured by nuts threaded onto these knob posts and then the radio can be "snapped" into place. Some cars had separate spring clips that attached each side of the radio onto the knob posts. This is a repro which incudes the plate with integrated spring clips.

If you were ever wondering how to replace a more modern radio with the classic look or period correct radio, this helps solve the problem.
    PRICE: $25.00 plus postage

I have one but I don't actually think it is for 911's I think it is Mercedes fitment however happy to be proven wrong.

I have only ever seen the ones in the 2nd pic used on early Porsches.

I had a NOS Blaupunkt fitting kit as supplied back in the day and it had the 2 seperate clips plus other brackets at the rear for holding the radio steady.

It slid into the permanent bracket welded to the bulkhead (first pic)

Same kit had the steel plate that slides into the front facia alloy trim which is pivotal for Blaupunkt fitment to 911's and that face won't work with Phil's piece
