Part way through engine rebuild on my Group S 3.0 litre race car and need to replace the 'on engine' oil cooler - prefer Behr - must be in good leak free condition

I have one. My engine builder wouldn't use it on my last rebuild, specified new only or wouldn't warrant the engine.

thanks for the offer, guessing if your engine builder won't use it then probably a good reason - do you know if it has been pressure tested ? I could be interested based on it being sound - let me know your thoughts

Engine had spun a bearing, noticed some small metal flake plus tiny bits of bearing at oil change b4 an upcoming track day. Didn't want to risk any particles within the cooler. Also said was no guaranteed way to clean out the cooler with 100% results.
Was on my running 3lt engine, not pressure tested but was not leaking and functioning as it should at the time.
Was lucky Crank and case were both ok.
