Topic of the month is safety equipment for your car…
Do you have a fire extinguisher fitted to your car? If not, it’s time to consider fitting one. Hopefully you’ll never need it, but you’ll have piece of mind when it’s within reach if the unthinkable happens…
As a member only offer for the Register we will supply a CAMS approved 1kg fire extinguisher with metal bracket (not plastic). PLUS we will also supply an aluminium mounting bracket which mounts on the rear two gearshift inspection cover screws. No drilling is required, just longer screws than original and a couple of washers. The bracket fits all early 911s and is easy to fit.

Next on our safety list is a secondary bonnet catch. If you are intending to do any competition events, you will need a secondary bonnet catch. This is a great little gadget too if your bonnet refuses to stay locked down! A cinch to fit, takes only a couple of minutes. You can leave it attached under the bonnet and only engage it when necessary. Made from 3mm steel cable with spring loaded steel clip.

We know that a lot of members like to do some P-car work at home. We would hope that you are all using a good quality Australian Standards compliant floor jack when tinkering with your baby at home…but where do you jack up the car with safety? We manufacture jacking pads which fit into the original jacking points. We even use these in our workshop! These are available with either a small round head or a square head. We can advise which one is best suited for you, dependant upon the head size of the floor jack you have (no funny jokes about head sizes please)…

New products: Engine Fuse Cover Knurled Screws
Some bits are just too hard to find these days – often they are silly little things, but still important. Ergo the knurled screws to hold the engine bay fuse cover on…I can’t find them anywhere! So instead of being driven to distraction, we have started production on a run of these knurled screws for the engine fuse cover. These will be produced from mild steel and zinc plated/passivated gold as per original colour. They will be exactly as per original save and except for a small undercut at the base of the thread in order to finish the thread correctly (where arrow is positioned). This you will struggle to see and definitely won't once fitted.
These can be posted anywhere from Melbourne Australia for you. Aussies - price is $33.00 incl GST based on the first run of 20. O/S price will be $22.00 USD per unit, but could be less if we place a larger order.
The quality will be excellent; our fabricators are some of the best downunder. Turnaround time is about 3 weeks for production.
