I need some help to locate my fathers old 911E, I would love to buy it if it's still in existence.
Dad's name is Johnny Schutzinger, that name my be somewhere in the documents I guess.
He purchased it second hand in 1972 we think (he's is 83 now) after selling his Porsche 912, the deal was arranged through a Porsche Mechanic called Cecil Weatherall in woollahra, Sydney.
Ok, it was a Silver 911E coupe. It had a 2.2 Lt engine, sunroof, black and white hounds tooth/checked cloth seats, rego JS911.
He sold it in approx 1984? before moving back to Salzburg, Austria.
I have found out that in 1971 only 1 silver 911E was deliverd to Australia. Frankston, Melbourne. could it be the car?
I am on a mission and i need your help. I have to relive those amazing memories of when i was a 6 year old being pinned to the back seat and screaming with laughter as dad dropped the clutch and went for it!
Now that he has returned to Australia to live, this time I think its only fair to give him a turn in the back.
Any clues or insights welcome.
