Wanted: Original side mirrors (Durant) new or used

    Guys,

I'm after a Durant side mirror for a '69 - '73 car, new or used. After an original OEM Durant, don't want copies. Can anyone help? Cheers

    Hi Jason,

I bought a new one 2 years ago from Porsche Melbourne, the quality is great and the price was suprisingly reasonable, $120 or there abouts.

Did that already Chris, they're now at $300 and it's got the wrong stamp on the back, it's got the 'star' but doesn't have the markings around it. Don't mind paying the money, but I'm after something that's period correct

      Thanks for the info

this one needs a good clean and a new gasket, but may be missing the plastic ring that hold the glass in

                good luck on the search

I'm still looking guys, haven't find the right one. The one on PC QLD is actually broken, but thanks for the pointer Mitchell

Anyone one with a genuine OEM durant?

                  Thank you all

I have a genuine Durant and a really nice copy, the copy has the stamping on the back of the head but it's not the same as the original.
I would want $275 for the original.

                        I saw this on early

Just wondering, there are two different size of a Durant. So which one should be correct for my 69? Advice please

Thank you Fishcop. However how can we know whether it is a original or repro? Any notifications to inspect?

Apparently there is a difference in the diamond stamps... but I can't tell you what the differences are. Pretty sure Clyde will know.
