Shifter Coupler Complete, NEW, 911/912 (1965-86)

I purchased a new shifter coupling from Pelican Parts and also purchased a WEVO coupling replacement.

Stupid me forgot to untick the box of the OEM part and got both.

If anyone needs a new OEM shifter coupling (with extra bushes) please let me know.

Cost US$83.25 plus bushes US$8.00 (exchange $119.40 Aus)

Price $100 Aus and I'll post it for free.

    Cheers
    Tom

    Hi tom
If no body wants the extra bushes, i would be interested in them.
    Let me know.

Tom, hopefully this will help resolve your gear selection issues seen on the video form PI.

Are you using a Rennshifter as FishCop mentioned ? I have these in several cars and the shifting is absolutely positive for all gears, 901 and 915 boxes alike.

Spot on Phil. It's the WEVO unit that I purchased, but comparable to the Rennshifter.

Given that my car's on track only now keeping it OEM is not as relevant anymore.

          Rennshifter and Wevo coupler...

Tom's issues were minor but really accentuated in the cut and thrust of racing I think something just wasn't 'tightened' after being set - it could have been a loose set-screw on the Rennshifter (which has a lot of adjustablity), or the coupler was loose on the splines of the shift-rod.
