Great idea Craig. We'll bring it up at committee to get some ideas together.

Typ 901 Tassie Tour 2022 Suggestion

        A good idea Peter.

I am always available to help coordinate from this end if required , have a couple of Targa's under the belt (not in this car) so know all the ropes and other top roads.

        Regards
        Bruce

            Good to hear Justin,

Shame the weather was "unfriendly" .

You're always welcome back, the guy who took the key was the CAMS ? (whatever) state president .

That was the weekend of the Super Cars meet up at Symmons Plains and he forgot us, would have been different the other way round !

Thanks , the old Angas always enjoys a good run , 450k round trip

            All the best
            Bruce

The accomodation was excellent throughout but Coles Bay blew us away….. we would have liked to have stayed longer ….. so would the car …. Tassie certainly offers some spectacular roads and scenery. I always feel the view is sometimes better from the outside looking in as there are some really amazing sights you only really get from the oceanside.

Here is a pic of Schouten Passage in April this year which is just south of Coles Bay and shows the southern the tip of the Freycinet Peninsular as you head out into the Tasman sea and then up the East Coast then north towards Bass Strait. We were extremely fortunate on this delivery trip taking the new boat back to Melbourne and had amazing, great weather with Schouten passage.JPG warm sunshine and light winds - something you dont see often in April in Tasmania !
