Peter, if you go for the Porsche signs on each side, I think you need to add in Renndienst (race service) as per the pic of the model below.

I bought one of these models in Europe years ago and gave it to Phil Hearn to add to his Kombi model collection.

Plenty Gus......although with only 2 seats, I guess never more than 2 sets.

Updating the resto.- Unfortunately with current restrictions, hopefully to be relaxed in the next few weeks, I'm eagerly awaiting the painter to resume work so we can get started on the interior. In the meantime I've purchased plenty of bits and pieces towards the resto - door and tailgate seals, window scrapers and seals, steering wheel, glove box lid, radio (vintage repro) from USA, light fittings, retractable seat belts, etc. Mainly from Dasresto (Qld) and Just Kampers (Sydney) - I can recommend both suppliers.
After paint, next job is sound deadening and insulation of entire interior (sourcing from Car Builders in Kilsyth), then off the Volkstrim (Dave Scanlon the Kombi Guru) for door cards, carpet, headlining and side panels. Also getting the wheels painted - not sure whether they're compatible with the 911 ? Then finally, the signwriting.

            Update.
Interior painting completed some weeks ago. Julie and I spent hours sound deadening the entire inside (product fro Car Builders). Makes a huge difference.
Interior partly lined - new door, tailgate and sliding door cards upholstered and fitted, new wood rimmed steering wheel (Father's Day present to me), new rubber mats in cab floor and seat pedestals, original seats restored and reupholstered, new headlining throughout. Magnificent work by Dave Scanlon, Volkstrim (Upwey).
New period radio fitted, head light mesh grilles fitted, retractable seat belts fitted, new period spot lights on order, chrome window winders on order
Next stages - complete interior side wall linings. (now I've decided what to do) and new carpet in van floor (carpet in photos is temporary only to protect paint. 'PORSCHE Renndienst' transfers on side
Next month whole braking system to be refurbished.

Another lockdown project. Fitment of set of 5" driving lights. I'll now be able to see more than about 20 metres which is about the range of the standard headlights.

These are overalls I made up at a cost of $10 each for our pit crew when TYP901 ran 3 teams at the Phillip Island 6 hour regularity some years ago in 2008.....a little cheaper than $295US, probably not as good but just as serviceable....and a good Aussie brand

Interior panels now installed. Next jobs - carpet in van floor, wiring for driving lights and installing speakers and wiring up radio.
