Repairs to sunroof drains to a 1973 T

Hi there

The front sunroof drains have caused rusting and the drivers side is blocked.

Car is in bare metal, new panel under windscreen has been ordered, and was wondering what approaches have been used to unblock / open the drains as they run through the front piller?

Plan is to retain the original sunroof.

Hi Adam,
I recall a similar issue when I restored the E many moons ago ...
The underside of the A pillar was 'unpicked' (read cut out) to check that the drain etc didnt need replacement, which it did.
I think it was done this way to avoid the removing compound curves on the front of the A pillar.
Then the whole lot was welded back up.
Big job
