    very nice.

if you still have the itch you could buy something old but still reliable (CB 750 ?) and cafe it out yourself?

i recently sold my SR500 cafe racer - i hated riding it - and bought a CB400/4. very fun to buzz around on and slowly morphing into a stripped down jap custom thing.

i was at wakefield park a few years ago and this guy landed next to the circuit in his helicopter. then a truck pulled up and unloaded his new GT3 and his new GT2. he proceeded to hoon around the track.

at lunch time he asked us all to come outside as he had a suprise. minutes later his MIG fighter jet started doing passes over the circuit. he had asked his instructor to fly it over as he did not yet have the correct license.

at this point i assumed that he pretty much had all of the money.

wasn't David Lowy? He's a few parked at Cowra, the flying displays there are worth a visit. Some amazing vintage military aircraft restored by mostly volunteers & mainly funded privately (Lowy Westfield $$ I believe)
