Picked up a new Audi A4 Avante on Saturday, which my wife bought me as a work run around. Think these are built on the same platform as the Passat and have a lot of the same gear. Seems to have plenty of room for kids and designed for easy loading to the rear. Only issue I've found with it so far is if you have it optioned with voice recognition practice your German accent, or at least have a sound track of goose stepping going on in the background to get it to work.

just put a deposit on a new passat wagon 118TSI with leather, media device interface, tinting and tow bar...

pick up is friday.

yep, had the car for a bit over a week now - love it!!

the petrol engine is great - very smooth compared to the diesels i'd driven.

(and found the original sticker price of the car at $51K so makes me think I wasn't ripped off at $44...)

yes, Tiguan arrived Friday- 7 months after ordering... it's very nice, tow bar fitted !
