I was out at Eagle Park (Adelaide MTB track) this morning when I came upon this in the middle of the track, the snake had nearly finished swallowing a bearded dragon.

assuming you were not at risk of being bitten whilst it was eating...
surely a smart snake would find somewhere quiet and inconspicious to eat something equal in size, rather than the middle of a mountain bike track?!?Richard Griffiths

It is a pretty remote disused quarry, certainly not much weekday traffic, and I guess if you're a hungry snake you have to take 'em where you find 'em. And yes he had his work cut out getting that last 1/3 in, so he was no threat to me.Comment
