The old open wheel racers (1930's) still run without seat belts....as Clyde and I witnessed at the 2012 PI Historics when one of them hit the wall and the driver was flung vertically out of the cockpit and land on the track unconscious - it was extremely fortunate that he wasn't run over by following cars.Originally posted by Cameron Arnott View PostPeter Williams #049
