Hi Patrick, I used to own an IWC Portugese Chrono in SS with gold numerals. I found the green dial and green leather strap a little too "irish" for me and the steel hands were hard to read against the dark face.Originally posted by patrick911 View PostPhil, I agree that the earlier pictured Heuer is too expensive; otherwise i would have been seriously tempted.
By the way, what did you think of the Boris becker IWC Portuguese?
They were prepared to trade my Bell & Ross (by Sinn) chronograph for a fair price but I am still after the plain steel IWC Portugese and will keep looking.
Am interested in the Rolex Explorer they have there with white face.
I assume you hang out there a bit then ?Attached FilessigpicPhil Lack

Nice watch Phil.
My daily wear is a Omega Seamaster Professional, Automatic and I've a couple of couple of Breitlings which probably don’t get worn as often as they should.
The books on all these watches suggest annual servicing – is this something you all do?
Great Blog Patrick – though I haven’t come across the proposition of ‘high end manufacturing’ and ‘Detroit’ in many years (ever?)Paul Wischer
