    Porsche Supercup - Sean Edwards

    Hi all,

I didn't hear about this one? RIP

Does anyone know how they could have hit that hard?

I was just researching for the Rush movie as Edwards plays his Dad in that one who famously tried to pull Lauda out of his burning Ferrari at the Nürburgring. I might watch it this weekend:

Love the sound of the approaching 901 at 0.57....

It's very topical here in Brisbane. Many answers needed.

Very sad. A couple of my English mates knew him quite well & are understandably devastated. By all accounts he was a lovely guy!

Given the aerial photos I have seen, it was a massive shunt on what seems to be a fairly tight piece of track!

I know the track well. What ever occured must have been catastrophic as it's not a particularly fast section, and there is a fair bit of kitty litter to get through.

        Very sad for all concerned.

I'm heading out to Lakeside on Sunday.
There were a couple of P Club guys at the accident who helped out with the initial response on the track.
Might be able to shed a bit of light on this very unfortunate incident.
Hoping young William will pull through.

I hear Will is doing well. He has some more surgeries scheduled, but on the plus side his burns were minimal.
