Thanks Clyde for an awesome drive and meticulous planning (we arrived in Lancefield at....8:55am ) and I specifically liked the hill-climb like component of the drive.
Weather was great and we were indeed very lucky with traffic (and potholes). Great to see you, both Andrews, Marcus & David.
    Here's a few pictures Kat & I took:

We got off to a flying start this morning unfortunately our esteemed Secretary was laid up with sciatica and could not join us, and a couple of others dropped out as well but we had a 5 car grid from the back of Tullamarine Airport (Clyde, Andrew and Costa in Andrews car, Andrew B, Marcus C, Patrick and Kat (Patrick having a day off from the RSR build) which became a 6 car party when David Belford joined us in Lancefield with his lovely 2002 BMW.

As I had hoped not many cars came towards us or got in front of us on the best bits so we had a good day. My engine rebuild in the 2.4 was feeling very sweet today (thanks Kane and Clem) with now 2000km completed since the full rebuild.

Yes, it was great to get out on some truely excellent roads with some fine company. Thanks Clyde for organising, especially the doing the reconnaissance before. I loved the Burke and Wills track, especially seeing AV disappear into the distance on the 1st leg

I'll try and get there Clyde - but will probably only come as far as Heathcote...

    Thanks for organising.
