NSW 901'ers,
The first of these events is scheduled fro April 9th at Wakefield Park. Cost for the day is $155-$165.
If you wish to find out more download the details from the PCNSW web site www.porscheclub.org.au.
What you will need to compete on the day.
1. Current PCNSW membership
2. Cams Level 2s license (cost $85 and available on www.cams.com.au)
3. Fire extinguisher
4. Bonnet tie down
5. Properly maintained car with nothing loose or leaking
6. Battery triangle (available on the day)
7. Approved helmet
8. Neck to ankle to wrist clothing
9. Toe hooks (the std ones on your car should suffice)
If you are a circuit newcomer I understand there will be practice in the morning and sufficient time to select your time. Cars will run in order of time, so you needn't worry about being monstered by faster cars.
I don't claim to be Walter Rohrl but am moderately familiar with early Porsches and their handling habits on a circuit. If you come along, I'd be happy to help you feel comfortable, enjoy the day and learn something
So hope to see you all there... this is definitely something you should try if you've been thinking about it.
If you have any questions feel free to contact me.
Regards,
Justin
