    Mark as Read Error

If I try to mark all forums as read I end up with the following error. Something which has been a recurring issue for a while.

    OS - OS X 10.11.5
    Browser - Safari 9.1.1

Yes not what they were, though not bad enough to get me transition to Windoze.

Not a fan and don't think it'll support keychain. Already have to use Chrome due to compatibility with some of our proprietary software so 2 browsers enough.

            Hi Paul,

Have you tried resetting the browser to clear the cache?

            1. Start by into the History menu.
            2. At the very bottom, you will see Clear History and Website Data.
            3. When you select this command, you will be taken to Clear History menu.
            4. Click Clear All History then it will clear the history and cache.
            5. Click the button on the dialog labeled Reset to complete the process.

            Cheers,

            Harry.

              Hi Harry,

Cleared browser, system (kernel) and fonts cache and rebuilt permissions. Do this fairly regularly due to the nature of the software and plugins I use. Interested to know whether anyone else using Safari in OSX is experiencing this. Also tried in on my Xserve at home and it does the same thing. I know Safari doesn't always play nice with other systems, particularly online ordering platforms.

Same with me Paul (Mac and Safari if that has any significance at all).

Found this happening from the Quicklinks "Mark Forums Read" and applied a code fix. If its happening from someplace else as well, please let me know.

I use Macs at home and work with Safari and Chrome, no issues.

                    Cheers,

                    Harry.

                      Hi Uwe,

I'm using the link at the bottom of the page and it's still doing it. Something to do with a security token? FWIW, slipped into developer mode and disable caches, no differences. Tried it again on my Xserve last night which is running a super stripped down version of 10.11.5 and it does it too so Safari not OS issue.

                      Thanks

Had another look, haven't tried this from the quicklinks before and it works from there, so looks like you've found the issue. So as mentioned above just does it from the link at the bottom of the main page, next to 'forum leaders'.

                        Thanks Uwe
