Couple of pics of a new acquisition, Speed Yellow 1997 993 Twin Turbo, no garage queen (132,000 km which is less than 5000km per year) but still in excellent condition main thing is showing some wear and tear on the interior which can easily be addressed.

Homeward bound!

After a brief (9 years) sojourn in the UK, returning home to Australia. Boarded a slow boat in Southampton and hope to see her in Melb mid August.

Fabulous lets hope customs don't go silly looking for asbestos

Yes ive been warned but hopefull common sense will prevail.

The receipts for the recent resto included in the car showing full bare metal paint, new sound deadening & interior retrim, brakes, and full engine rebuild & clutch replacing the usual asbestos items that im aware of like brake pads, gaskets, underbody seal etc

Does anybody know where else an early LWB may have contained asi? I might have the restorer draft a letter stating what was done and what new parts went in i can issue to customs?

Body deadener (schutz) apparently but if you replaced all of that you should be good.

Mechanical correction all complete at Porsche Classic at PCM.

Wheels re done and nice new Pirellis all round.

In the holding pen awaiting for me to be able to drive again to collect.

Gorgeous! the 993 turbo has be to be best looking 911 ever.

I was close to buying this forest green car couple years ago.

Insisted on a pre purchase inspection. Amazed at the lies that came from the dealers mouth as to why the car couldnt be inspected. Followed up with some research on the dealership online and needless to say lucky i did. They also have a speed yellow turbo S which he has been trying to sell for 5+ years. Very poor accident repair but apparently its a garage queen according to the dealer.
