Yes I know it looks OK paint wise but it is actually terrible close up lots of bubbling and not from rust.

it was done with genuine RS parts back in the early 80’s has genuine date matching RS size wheels and a correct part numbered RS steering wheel

Being a purist and seeing the car is a great Australian Delivered example that really only has bolt on changes with the exception of the rear guards I would stay true. Just go easy with the hairdryer when removing any decals. Wink

If neat job on rs flare conversion, leave it.
Can fit bigger rims.

You have other cars that can be slavishly original. My 2c worth

It can be returned to original easily enough at any time, bolt on some bigger bits in the mean time and enjoy.

what do YOU want to end up with Clyde? Is it to keep or is it to sell? Sell to maximise sale price = narrow. Keep = either way.

I'm all for original, but I just love the slightly wider stance of an RS so I voted for that.
