At last....new grille badges

After 3 years of procrastination by me, we have new high quality club badges.

I had promised to do these at each AGM and it was John Farlow, following last years AGM, who started the process on the clubs behalf with Ray Weeks from Precision Badges.

Ray and I eventually connected and the result is a more modern looking badge in high quality brass (read expensive) that is the identical design to the original .

I will be sourcing a fitting kit over the next week or so and then we will be offering these for sale at a price to just recoup the cost of the badge, kit and postage which means probably $100. (badges made in brass are expensive!!!).

Will have them at the AGM, might even buy one for the ST

Update on this is........

I am having trouble finding the 4mm brass, cap head screws we need for the fitting kit hopefully, found the answer on Friday

We will be doing an ordering service via the treasurer who will create and invoice and send back to you for payment so we can properly track funds coming into the acct

Hopefully all ready to go before Xmas

like many I will be awaiting the opportunity to purchase one of these with nervous anticipation.
