Me too .... excellent and many thanks.

if I’m not mistaken there are a few of my late fathers shots from Warwick Farm 1970/71, and some my great friend the late Mark Goddard took..... I reckon both men would be giving each other a pat on the back up in Porsche Heaven about now

ive had a bruising week, and to find this on the doorstep , brought a genuine smile to my face.....

    Many thanks to all involved

Received Julie's yesterday, fabulous production, terrific photos. Thanks to Paul Wischer and Mark Munro for putting it together in a short timeframe so it could be sent to all members by Xmas. Well done fellas.

I was very surprised with the "August" pinup as it's a photo taken by me (with Olympus OM1 camera) on my Upwey property in 1981 of my then Mexico Blue '69S (see avatar) which I had recently purchased for $12k from Gary Parnaby (now a club member). I sold it in 1983 for $13.5k and it went off to Sydney. Some years later (20+ years) it appeared back in Melbourne (restored back to the original red colour) in the ownership of then club member James Newton, who later on sold it to Clyde for around $85k.
Clyde had the engine rebuilt and sold it to Duttons for around $240k and it was later advertised at CTS for $315k.....and sold for $250k. It's currently undergoing a full body resto.

The September photo is from one of our TYP901 Mornington Peninsula runs (probably May 2011). My 71T is second from right. The photo was taken on the Flinders foreshore adjacent to the 5th fairway of the Flinders Golf Course.................the only course in Australia which has a view of the ocean from every hole on the course (trivia fact...or myth??)

              Cheers

Great calendar arrived Friday afternoon. Thanks 901 register. Will find an appropriate wall to hang it. Re the previous comments by Peter W, yes I think back to the day I sold that to you in 1980. The 911S has sure had a meteoric rise from when I purchased it in 1976 for $8400. At the same time I could have bought a Ferrari 240Gt from Brents Warrigal Rd Oakleigh for $ 12k. Ah, those were the days!

Love my TYP901 calendar. Thanks to the committee. Great to see the diversity of shots old thru new and the historic shots were the icing on the cake. Great also to see the club run lineup on the seafront at Flinders Golf Course. Nev
