That's USD plus import duty plus gst plus freight etc and no local backup if it all goes bang ! There are plenty of excellent engine builders here.

I would think so, but without more detail on the internals/extras bit hard to calculate exactly.
IF you were after one, had plenty of hp in your wallet,why not jump in.

More like $75K USD after you get screwed on exchange shipping duty FST port charges etc etc

you can surely build something like that for less ask me how I know (ST engine)

Agreed. There is ample expertise in VIC, ample parts supply, and importantly ample support after installation. While the build quality is probably very good, there is much more risk in this option, as opposed to having an engine rebuilt in Vic.
