It was bump in day today and here are a few pics I took of some of the Porsche cars on display. The RHD RS was just finished this week by David at Werk 1, back in it's original Irish Rally livery. Plenty of cars there and more arriving this afternoon. Hope the weather behaves.

There was never meant to be a big crowd, think they got close to their maximum permitted spectators each day and I believe the event to be a success.

It was not like any other car show ever held in Australia.

Some great and very rare cars on display for sure.

Best in show was a boat tail Rolls Royce and Peoples Choice went to a 356.

My ST got lots of attention and nice compliments but of course was out of it's depth in this sort of company no matter how perfect it may be and rightly so.

I think more people will be keen to put their cars up for inclusion (it's by invitation only) next year after seeing how the event ran and that the cars are respected by all attending.

Absolutlely an awesome venue for such an event.

My highlight included me getting to sit in a Lambo Countach LP 5000 I think it was (Ryan Curnicks's). A crazy driving position made for 5'5 Italians that is for sure!!

I didn't take many photos go to The Motorists Concours website I am sure they have or will upload many.

For those who want to have a look at what went on down there, the best place to view images is on the Instagram page - https://www.instagram.com/themotorists_concours/ - but there will be other images loaded onto their website at some stage, plus a possible book documenting the weekend down the track.

I concur with Clyde's summary, it was a very special weekend for all involved, the weather was a bit hit or miss but the rest of the weekend was world class!

(Disclaimer: I was the official event photographer for the organisers, many of the images are mine. )

Any intel on the 356 that won the People's Choice? Back in the 80's I owned one that was the same model and colour combination, would love to know if it's the same one!
