Nice to be back as a member. l have a 1971 911 German right hand convert l brought the car in 2001.The car is an S body with a T motor and was imported from Germany by the previous owner. The car had front oil cooler and a full dash. Over the years had the 901 gearbox rebuilt by Micheal Newton McGrath Hill. I fitted carrera chain tensioners chain guides, weber carbs which were rebuilt by Canberra carburtors, fitted stainless exhaust system, new clutch plus associated parts, installed 123 ignition . In 2025 I install new aa pistons rings and cylinders like for like, new valves in heads ,new valve stem seals, carbs pressure valve controller. I then removed front disc to be overhauled and dropped one on concete floor which broke off one mounting lug . The calipers are m type 3 inch. Last year I sold my 1962 356. The car went to Melbourne. I love working on the 911. It is a long way short of concourse . Just love the car . Thanks for reading. Trev.

We need updated pics and love the long term ownership.

You would be able to find used M calipers no issue or the Alfa Romeo Brembo alloy calipers (better braking ) fit right on as far as I understand.
