Interesting to note all of the things Dave did were spot one with one minor exception that I will be taking up with him in 8 weeks

Easy to fix and note the 7's and 9's as fitted at the factory which is exactly what I have all dated late 72, so spot on

The muffler on that car is the sports one fitted to headers which is still available but won't fit on my compromised SSI's

Realised yesterday we have no horns on the car.....something we need for a roadworthy so into the roof and searching.

First ever polish for the car, 6 years after painting, it has come up amazing.

Also got some clear protection film in the important places post the polish.

It's ready to register and drive but of course there has to be some problems....and there are.

              Will report back when solved.

8 years 4 months and 4 days and today I drove the car for the first time (thanks for posting the video link Marcus)

Didn't go too far, Dave was a passenger, it took us both a bit by surprise with it's torque and how easily it accelerated.

At the end of a 6 minute drive we were left in no doubt that when fully tuned and buttoned up this is going to be one very, very quick yet driveable car.

The S cams have certainly helped the driveability and not hurt the power much it seems.

                  Its loud but pleasantly loud.

Now to try and work my way around the registration minefield anyone know a sympathetic and sensible VASS inspector in Melbourne?

To see and hear close up turn up to the AGM as it will be there.

It made it from Nth Melbourne to Carrum yesterday, didn't miss a beat, and boy does it want to run....

Approx 6 cars nearly ran off the road looking at the car

Back in the factory next to the Alfa if your attending the AGM you can check them out and hear the Porsche running

Don't be fooled by the reflections of the roof...the paint is still good.
