          Hi Chris.

          Wonderful work (and a really interesting thread).

          Did you get the wheels re-chromed? Was this done locally and were there any issues with the process?

            Hi Mark,

            The wheels were pretty straightforward, I took them to a local wheelworks and had the centres separated from the rim, then had the rims rerolled to ensure "true".
            Next I sent off all the pieces (5x rims 5x centres)to a chrome works in Albury where they did a great job.
            On their return the pieces went back to the wheelworks for the centres to be jigged up and welded back into the rims.
