Makes the world go round Merv, we all stuff things up sometimes - make it right and all is good - right up until someone breaks their word - I'm Tasmanian

I'm not surprised to hear Eric will make it right.

Me either. I have only heard good things about him and my brembo front brakes and refurbished rear brakes from him are excellent, as was my dealings with him a few years ago. I was quite shocked when I saw cam's post and am glad that you guys are getting to the bottom of the issue and Eric is handling this in the way that has been reported here

              Just for balance...
My calipers are at PMB now, I emailed yesterday expressing concern, and have not had a response. Possibly because I emailed the person who had previously sent me progress info. Will now try Eric direct.
              Cheers, Richard.

I got this from Eric today

                "Hello Julian,

I would still like to entertain getting them back and redoing them. I may have some cores here from my trip to Hershey and I would be happy to build them out and swap if they turn out well.

The included picture is what the finish should look like. It is a later dichromate caliper but, it you can get an idea of the factory sheen. It will help answer the question that Cam had as well. He was comparing the finish to an early example which was too shiney.

                Eric"

                I emailed "pmbperformance@gmail.com" Richard.

Yep not supposed to be as shiny a finish as their website photo as per post #18. I think Fishy's look bang on….satin whithout being shiny.

Be warned . . . I have been waiting for almost four months to get my rebuilt calipers back. PMB may do good work, but they are just too slow unless you are willing to have your car off the road for a long, long time.

4 months is not cool, unless you were advised it was going to be that long.......and by the sounds of it Nick you were not.

Seems unusual in my experience, and a few others on here I think - did you contact them?

How are your wheels going with Harvey or your MFI pump with Gus

Its just the way it is too much demand too few tradies

It took that long to rebuild my whole motor! I was going crazy not having the 911 to drive and must have tidied my garage 3 times ...
